Setup (manufacturer instructions)
1. Open the Aqara Home app, sign up and log in to your Aqara account. 2. Add the Hub and its Zigbee child devices to your Home. 3. Go to “Accessories”, then select the Hub and go to the device details page, tap “More settings” , tap “Bind to Matter” to enter commissioning mode, scan the Matter QR code to add the Hub M3 and its child devices to your Matter ecosystem app;
Factory reset
General advice
- First remove the device in your smart home app (controller) so its pairing is deleted there.
- Reset the device as the manufacturer describes – often a reset button or a fixed sequence of power cycles. The exact sequence differs per device; use the manual.
- The device then starts in pairing mode. Set it up again with its QR code or setup code.
Resetting erases the device’s settings and assignments.
